Terms of Service

By creating a RouteForge account or using the API, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

RouteForge provides HTTP APIs for routing, geocoding, logistics optimization, and compliance data. The service is provided as-is, with a best-effort 99.9% uptime target. Scheduled maintenance is excluded from SLA calculations.

You must not:

• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the API responses as a competing data product.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or authentication.
• Use the API for unlawful purposes or to track individuals without consent.
• Submit requests at volumes that degrade service for other users outside of your agreed plan limits.

The free tier includes 10,000 API requests per calendar month. Exceeding this limit will result in requests being rejected (HTTP 429) until the next billing cycle. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits with 30 days notice.

PAYG usage is billed monthly in arrears to the payment method on file. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. Unused credits do not roll over. All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential. Compromised keys must be rotated immediately via the dashboard. We are not liable for unauthorized use of keys that were not promptly revoked after compromise.

All route data, LEZ zone data, and map data served through the API is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and EU government open data sources. Your use of this data is subject to their respective licenses.

RouteForge and MindGear shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms with immediate effect. You may delete your account at any time via the dashboard.

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania, unless mandatory EU consumer law provisions require otherwise.
